Gorgar pinball machine GORGAR
"Enter the lair of Gorgar"
Gorgar was the first talking pinball machine and it was a sensation when it was released. With a vocabulary of seven snarling words, which combined to say just seven phrases, it ruled arcades back in the early 80s. It featured a background sound of a beating heart that would get faster and faster the longer the ball was kept in play and it was one of the first machines to have an under-the-playfield holding magnet. What really made Gorgar stand out, however, was the stunning satanic-barbarian-fantasy artwork on the backglass and playfield. In a darkened room there are few pinball machines that have the brilliant look of a Gorgar.
"Me Gorgar. Beat me!"
This Gorgar pinball machine is in good condition overall. Nothing is broken, glass is very nice condition, playfield has normal wear and tear. The coin mechanism still works or you can set it to "free play". It spent the last 8 years in my home game room and is a fun pinball to play. Since I have had it I have replaced the rubber and a few solenoids. The boards were sent off to a company in Ohio who checks and fixes these old boards. If you have been looking for a really nice Gorgar, this is a very unusual find. If you have any more questions please let me know. My phone number is
