Sumo Senior Male in Columbia, South Carolina

My story
This handsome pup is Sumo. We saw a Facebook post asking for help for this sweet stray, and we sprung into action! He came to us filthy, covered in sores, and barely able to walk. We estimate that Sumo is around 3 years old, and he is just a big lovebug. He enjoys his comfy beds, getting lots of scratches, and tasty treats. He walks great on a leash, and he seems to enjoy short outings. Sumo has begun his path to recovery, and now he is looking for the path to his forever home. He is currently thriving in a foster home, here is what his foster has to say about him: "Sumo has an old man personality, he will take 5 hour naps on the bed and loves a good tv show while napping and has to have you with him while he does it all. He is a foodie and a gentle giant. He has neurological damage in his back legs so he needs the extra assistance. No stairs and super short walks only. Doesnt like to be outside for long he is a big guy and gets hot fast. He loves a fan and a cool mist air humidifier he has more gums than teeth so it helps him breathe better. He is on thyroid medicine and eye drops for his eyes they get funky at night so his eyes get cleaned every morning and before bed. He does not like to share any of his bones. But he is the best boy ever!" We promised Sumo that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?
